Date Listed: May-10-08 Native field rocks (aka church/chert stone, flint rock, lime rock). For the most part, they are natural faced. They have not been cut from larger stones. Lot’s of character! Great for landscaping, ponds, building or erosion control. We can assist with the loading of the majority of the rocks or you can arrange to come out and pick up your own. Delivery can be arranged for a fee in the Gainesville, High Springs, Alachua, Fort White areas. If we deliver, we are limited to delivering smaller loads (for the most part the smaller rocks up to 150lbs). There are several carriers in the area I can refer you to if your project requires larger loads/rocks or delivery outside our area. Estimation on the smaller rocks is approximately 5 to 10 lbs. The sizes and shapes vary, for project planning on a garden border each rock is approximately 10 inches long. We do have rocks in every size up to ones weighing several thousand pounds. PRICING Under 2000 lbs/Loaded .15 per lbs. 2000 to 4000 lbs/Loaded .12 per lbs. 4000 to 8000 lbs/loaded .10 per lbs. Over 8000 lbs .08 per lbs. If you want multi-loads over 8000 lbs. loaded within the same time frame (consecutively), I can go to .06 per lbs. We are located right off the I-75 and 441 Alachua, FL exit (Between Alachua and High Springs). We can also assist with the placement for an additional fee.
