We are offering an excellent opportunity for an entry-level engineer to staff our network operations center (NOC). They would apply the Kaseya managed service framework to deliver proactive services including monitoring, patching and backups to our relationship customers. We require a minimum of one (1) year experience working with Windows 2000/2003, Windows XP/Vista, Microsoft Office, and other common Windows applications. An ideal candidate would have all of these attributes: · solid people skills and an even temper · a curious mind with the ability to learn quickly · a solid work ethic and responsible attitude · the ability to make fast, quality decisions · existing technical skills You’ll notice that technical skills are last on this list. This is intentional. We’ve found that the best engineers have the above attributes, and technical skills are the least important. If you can honestly assess yourself, and feel like you meet the first four criteria, then we should seriously talk. The position will be on-site in our central Pinellas office, from 30-40 hours per week, spread across 5 days. You will have some flexibility in your work schedule, and some evening and weekend hours may be required. This will be an hourly position with the option to convert to salary, including benefits and a quarterly bonus plan.
