DOGS & CATS NEED HOMES!

We are a private rescue located in Chiefland, FL and have several dogs and cats who are in need of new, permanent, loving homes. Our adoption fees range from $125 and up depending on the medical needs, breed, age, etc of the pet. We drastically discount our adoption fees for dogs and cats who have been waiting for a long period of time and who have already been completely vetted. Currently our priority adoption is a 5 year old pitbull mix who has been in rescue for 3 years now. She is a great dog with people but needs to go to a home with no other pets. She also tested heartworm positive 3 years ago due to her former owner's failure to keep her on prevention. She HAS been kept on a monthly treatment and can be put onto a regular monthly HWP just as a HW negative dog would be so it is nothing to worry about.By now, she may even test negative as she has been on treatment since we first got her 3 years ago. I hope that someone can overlook her breed's reputation and give her the kind of life that she deserves. Peaches adoption fee has been drastically reduced in our efforts to find her a new, loving home.
