What a sweet little boy Midnight is! He is a little on the side of skinny, but has a good appetite and we're sure we will be able to get his weight up to where it needs to be in no time. When you call his name he comes running and wagging his whole body. AND, he has the biggest smile on his face too. Yes, that's right, he smiles. In pictures it looks like a full tooth growl, but it's not. It's Midnight being so happy to be waiting for his forever home. He is a really good boy who likes to snuggle in bed at night. He is still a little scared when you first pick him up. But, this sweet boy is going to make a wonderful pet. He is smart too. He figured out the doggie door immediately. He is working on housetraining and doing very well.

UPDATE: Midnight is still a VERY shy boy. He usually knows right off the bat if he likes you or not. He chose me as his person fairly early on and hasn't wavered on that issue. He IS doing VERY well with potty training and is starting to get a little braver. He is going to be so scared when he goes to his forever home. Whoever gets him is going to have to be willing to give him LOTS of time to adjust. I think if they have at least one dog, that will help him adjust. He likes being with the other dogs more than with people. I wouldn't be surprised if they got him home and weren't able to even touch him for several days. He will be that scared. I think he will come around, but it will take a lot of patience.
