Meet Bruce! Bruce is a very special dog because he is diabetic, which will require some extra attention from you when you bring him home. Once you and your veterinarian get his glucose levels stabilized, you will need to check his levels only periodically, although he will need to be on insulin for life. Bruce is an Australian Cattle Dog mix and he is about 4 1/2 years old. He is currently residing in our medical area so that our veterinary staff can keep a close eye on him.
