Description
Finlay is a great dog who just wants to play, play, play. He has no food or toy aggression and is very well crate trained. His only quirk is that he is uneasy around men. He is fine with cats. Finlay is on the large side for a cairn, weighing around 20 lbs. UPDATE: Despite being rescued from a difficult situation, Finlay's heart is full of joy and he is ready to give his heart to that special someone, nothing makes him happier than being with his person. I have never met a cairn more full of love. Finlay also loves the outdoors, so needs a home with a fenced yard. UPDATE: Finlay would do really well with another dog, he loves to play with other dogs. He absolutely LOVES to play with two Aussies, so he is used to larger dogs as well as small. Being the center of attention makes Finlay very nervous, he would much rather sit aside and come to you when he is ready. It freaks him out if people try to give him too much attention and pet him all the time, altho he loves attention from anyone he knows well. He is still unsure of men and strangers, but has come a long way and can learn to co-exist with them. The perfect home for him would be with an older woman who is home a lot and wants a shadow! He loves to follow at his person's heels. He is a very happy and playful dog when he is comfortable and content. Finlay LOVES snow, and he loves to swim!
