Dachshund - Medium - Senior - Male - Dog - Brandy

Hi - I'm a gorgeous long haired standard dachshund gentleman of age 17 - my beloved owner had to go to a nursing home and can't care for me any longer so at this age here I am - out looking for a retirement home of my own. I'm a sweet guy asking nothing more than food to eat and a soft place to lounge. I'm crate trained and for the most part I'm housetrained. I do have accidents if I can't get outside but I pretty much hold it for hours on end. As you can guess, I don't play much but I do love to run around outside at times. I move a little slower than the other dogs here in my foster home, but we get along just fine. I don't have any medical problems that I take medicine for but I don't see quite as well as I used to and I do have selective hearing. If I do say so myself, I'm quite the handsome fella - please consider giving me a place to retire and be loved for whatever time I have left. Thanks for reading about me - I promise the $75.00 adoption fee is a tiny price to pay for having my company....
