Comments from our kennel staff: "Woody is a handsome, good sized boy, and very affectionate. He especially likes it when he's last to go back in from turnout so he can get his ears and nose rubbed. He's a good listener and has a really nice, middle-of-the-road temperment. He gets along very well with the other greys here at the kennel. He does like basking in the sun on mild days, so he would definitley enjoy a home with a fenced yard where he can have some supervised sun-bathing! He would most likely thrive in a home with another pet to enjoy his company." ***UPDATE 10-27-09*** Comments from the Foster Home: "Woody has really settled in wonderfully! He is a great pet in the home-no issues whatsoever. He gets along with our male grey without any fuss. He's an outgoing and friendly boy who we think will make a fantastic pet for a lucky adopter."(Brindle). Greyhounds are well known for their gentle, peaceful, loving disposition. Each has a unique personality. They are very smart and eager to please, learning the rules of the household very fast. With just a little love and care, they soon become a member of your family. You will be very happy they have entered your lives. These photos do not do justice to the dogs. They are a beautiful breed, retired athletes, very sleek and sculptured.
