Dalmatian - Large - Young - Female - Dog - Dililah

Dililah has come a long way over the past few months. She was very shy and she has done well to overcome this. She is friendly and will willingly greet strangers. She loves to lay outside on the cement patio and 'catch a few rays'. She even lays on the first step of the pool to cool off. Dililah has the kindest eyes and they reflect her gentle nature. She will crate well overnight and for short periods of the day. Crating in excess of six hours would be too much restraint on her. She needs to run, play and exercise. She is an active dog although she likes her quiet times too. She does not do well with excessive noise and activity. She becomes fearful and anxious. She also tends to be protective toward the person she bonds with, but if you set the example of having no fear or anxiety, she seems to follow the lead readily enough. She is not a chewer, but she will bark at people who are nearby to 'her' yard so she is a good watchdog, but it may take her a little while to learn the parameters of a new environment. We recommend that anyone who takes Dililah utilizes our trainer or another trainer for support to help Dililah make adjustments and adapt to the routine of a new home.
