1 year later and my life has just begun! It all started one night when my former owner got hauled off in a police cruiser and had to 'go away for a while.' The next thing I knew, I was going for a ride too. I thought we were being taken to the same place, but I was way wrong. I was taken to the shelter. Panic! Yuck! I thought it was just going to be temporary and thought everyday was the day my dad was coming back for me. For an entire year, everyday I was disappointed. It was an entire year before my dad's legal stuff was settled and I was released and the nice volunteers at the shelter who had been taking care of me for so long. The volunteers at the shelter were quick to get me into a foster home, because I had been sleeping on the concrete floor at the shelter long enough. My next car ride was to Florida and here I am, ready and willing! I am about one and a half years old, neutered, vaccinated, heartworm negative, and microchipped. I love playing with other dogs and would make a great family member. Please ask my foster mom more about me at annmarie@animalfriendssociety.org
