Grant Writer- Green Jobs now.Org The individual is responsible for conducting the full range of activities required to secure major grant funding from corporations, foundations and federal, state, and local governments in support of our Fed Client, its programs, resources, and campaigns. • The grant writer is responsible for submitting Letters of Intents, proposals and online applications on behalf of the association in a timely and consistent manner. • Researching and identifying foundations and grant providers based inside of and outside of the US that would be relevant to its mission and vision. • Selecting appropriate grant schemes and applications. • Working with members of Fed Clients Executive Team in application writing, budget creation and submission. • Create a system for organizing and maintaining grant data and tracking contacts with foundations and other funding sources that have been looked into and/or applied for. Qualifications Position requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience. Grant writing experience is required preferably with a proven track record of raising money from corporations, foundations, and government sources. Experience with proposal writing and institutional donors are a plus. Previous experience as a grant writer for a non-profit organization is highly desirable. Strong written communication skills and the ability to write clear, structured, articulate, and persuasive proposals are mandatory.
