These lost dogs have recently been brought to SPCA Tampa Bay. If you have lost one and think one of these may be yours please contact me as soon as possible. Expect to show ID, and proof that the pet is current on its County rabies vaccine, or it will have to be done. Be aware that there may be fees due for vaccines, vetrinary care and or boarding. Unfortunately, as a NON profit organization funded solely by donations, we must request that all fees must be taken care of during the return process.
I am not able to keep these animals for an indefinate amount of time. If unclaimed after 6-10 days they will be evaluated for adoption. PLEASE, if you have lost a pet, DO NOT WAIT to file a lost report and check shelters. DON'T CHECK JUST ONCE, check every few days.
PLEASE remember, if you have FOUND an animal it is not legal to keep it with out first making a documentable atempt to find the owner. The newspaper does not charge to place a found notice. Please do the right thing. Not only does the family probably miss the pet, the pet very likely misses its family.
I can not release any information to anyone except the owner. If you are interested in adopting, please check our website. Any and all animals that are available for adoption are on the SPCA Tampa Bays web site www.spcatampabay.org
I will note that the small white dog was found in Tampa. The beagle has a microchip and I know the dogs name.
These animals are NOT available for adoption. PLEASE do NOT call me to find out about adopting them.
